We visited as a family with young children, the menu was varied to suit all our needs, the service we received was second to none. Extra food was cooked and extra ice cream as the children wanted more as they enjoyed it so much, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable, we will definitely... The Lighthouse Inn had lovely home cooked food, and was also really reasonable for the quality. All the staff and owners were friendly, and we ended up chatting to the locals who were also really pleasant. A lovely place to walk to from the Lighthouse for dinner and drinks and a fun atmosphere.

Excellent food (not condon bleur but excellent value for money and mostly fresh home cooked. Sunday Lunch is exceptional good value and very tasty. Cannot fault the food. Very friendly, helpful and efficient service. Sadly it is a really scruffy place, let's itself and nearby Retirement Park down. Clean but very scruffy and there is no need !! Prime location,... The restaurant is tucked away upstairs, we arrived in the evening and all we could see was the glow of the candle lamps warming the tables, through the window. The collection of artifacts, connects you straight to the sea, with ropes and nets clinging warmly to the oak aged beams create an ambiance of a sea farers tale, whether that... More

Visited Lunchtime Sat 4th March. I found the Landlord friendly and helpful and it had a good range of beers. There is also a Cafe attached to the Pub.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!! I visited this place recently as our family (8 of us) had intended to have lunch in the pub. Firstly they attempt to charge you to park in their car park but the parking meter wasn't working - it swallowed my coins but didn't issue me with a ticket to display in my car! Another potential... We have been walking the coast path in South Wales and the eating facilities are few and far between. Literally nothing between Mermaid Quay and The Lighthouse Inn in St Brides Wentlooge -10 miles. So being served the heartiest baked potato ever with coleslaw was the best !

Description
We are a traditional country pub situated right on the edge of the severn estuary. We serve bar meals downstairs on thursdays, fridays and saturdays along with our popular sunday lunch. We also have a steakhouse restaurant upstairs which opens on a friday and saturday night and serves "steak on a stone" which is a hot volcanic rock that cooks your steak to perfection at your table. This restaurant is strictly adult only because of the hot rock system.
