Quiet Thursday dinner at Dosa Hub, the restaurant was pretty empty but the food was amazing. Our first visit here and the staff were attentive and informative on the menu. The selection of Dosa is amazing and the god in general was great value, plentiful...and spicy. Would highly recommend.More

We visited on a Friday night. Booked for 7 pm for a group of 6. Long delays all evening from getting earlier people off the table, order taken, long wait no food. Many enquires and excuses. Other tables being served. Enquiry by kitchen staff at...8.15, what have we had =1 Dosa. Explanation, Food sent to wrong table, people gone. remainder delivered 9 pm. (Two hours after booking) plus two dishes we had not ordered. Eat them - complementary. We left at 10pm. Very well fed. The good bit - the food is excellent - once you get it - 5 stars with better service. If more than a few tables on footpath - come back another day they are trying to seat too many.More

You'd have thought Balmain already had enough Indian restaurants but the recent arrival of Dosa Hub on Darling St seems to have really filled a niche. Given how busy it has been, even early in the week, we gave it a try. We ordered just...the Chicken Dum Biriyani (which was huge) plus a Paneer Dosa and could not eat it all. The food is delicious, servings generous and prices reasonable. The place is licensed but they also allow BYO. I can well understand why it has proved so popular.More
