The food is always yum and they have a decent selection. Probably not the best Japanese food I have ever had but no where near the worst. I happily go back here with friends when looking for somewhere easy to go in Crows Nest

Great staff, friendly with great service! The sushi tastes as though it was just caught. Agadashi tofu is excellent, mixed sashimi plate so fresh and beautifully presented. Popcorn prawns are yummy. Gyoza both meat and prawn are so moorish! The various sake's are a must both hot and cold, really complimenting the dishes. Then there is the Rugby and Sumo... More

The owner has an RU fetish and the signed wall hangings say everything about his/her interest in the food. The staff are lonely and so their best. But the cook has it all out of a bottle or a packet. Plus $8 corkage? SAVE YOUR MONEY!

I have dined here a few times with family because my nieces like it. The food is good, nice and fresh service can be a little slow but not to bad. Good selection of beer and sake But It reminds me of eating at an RSL. Loud televisions in a restaurant i do not understand? The reason you go out... More

Fantastic alfresco dining in the heart of crows nest. The sashimi is sensational, but try the JFC, wagu beef and the spinach. Great local dining, not cheap but nice. Friendly environment.

Superbly prepared from the freshest ingredients, Sapporo serves incredible Japanese food. The service was delightful - very attentive without being intrusive. Sashimi was perfectly prepared and delicious. Agadashi Tofu was a good portion size as were the mains. They catered very well for my coeliac friend - GF soy sauce and specially prepared meals.

Our #1 restaurant for Sukiyaki. Being an ex-rugby player myself, the owners passion for the game always makes the night enjoyable. Always buzzing and great food to boot.

Perfectly prepared Japanese food. The chef is the former sushi counter owner who is a wonderful chef. Sashimi and sushi perfect temperature and high quality. Thoughtful wine list that's limited and beer icy. Sake very good. We were lucky enough to have live sumo playing. Fantastic place.

Sapporo is a good local, casual restaurant with a varied menu that offers something for everyone. The sukiyaki is flavorful, but not salty. The tempura is hot, crisp and not greasy. The sushi and sashimi is fresh. Instead of flat screen televisions, they still use large pull down screens inside and outside to project various sports. The best is when... More

i have been eating at Sapporo for over 19 years. The food is always excellent, the service is fast and great, and the man at the front of house called Schu is excellent. You can bring your dog and eat outside, watch Sumo wrestling live or Rugby live. If you want to eat and watch the World cup Rugby this... More
