Wonderful views from the dinning area towards the beach. Excellent service and great food. Good selection of wines and beers domestic and imported. Cocktails, according to wife and daughter are excellent. There is outside and lower level seating but I prefer inside for the view and the lack of noise from street.

Although I am a Manly local, I had never previously visited this restaurant. With friends, we booked a table near the window on a Saturday night. The food was lovely - 4 of us had a different dish for mains and dessert and the menu had a good selection. But the main reason I am writing this review is because... More

visited for lunch on a a hot summers Friday in Jan 2017 . Meal was fine and very good value. location is excellent Service was good. Having visited this restaurant each year for lunch we were only disappointed by the furnishings which are now looking very tired and worn out.

Stream of consciousness; Scallops over cooked, squid no better than any highway pub, snapper too salty to eat, chips that never turned up, staff nice but in their first job, chairs grubby, incredibly overpriced. Sadly this restaurant is feeding on tourists like a tick. In any normal town they'd have gone out of business years ago. Stop ripping people off... More

Service very good, portion sizes very poor. Ordered full rack of ribs and received three very small pieces for a cost of $38. Entree was also poor. Dessert was the brûlée and was the biggest meal of the night. All in all a expensive night . Should have gone to the ribs restaurant upstairs .

I have dined at the restaurant in the past and it was great so much so I actually brought international business visitors to it who commented on how good it WAS. This time, I would have done better to pick the local cafe to have Christmas lunch at. It was expensive for what was supplied and below average in quality,... More

We visited Whitewater on New Years Eve 2016. I booked last minute, as it was an unplanned trip. We were surprised (and pleased) to see that we had a set menu, with a glass of champagne) for only $65. The menu looked good, so we decided to give it a go. And we were so glad we did! On arrival,... More

We went for lunch. Although it is a busy restaurant there is still enough privacy. I prefer the entree menu to the mains so we had a selection of entrees. The duck pancakes was nice but didn't really kick a goal. The cold tasting plate was tasty, interesting and different from what I expected. The squid was really good. For... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Manly
A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants as well, especially along the family-oriented areas like Shelly Beach. An excellent way to experience Manly is to rent a bike and explore the dedicated bike paths and off road trails. The North Head National Park is another must-see. Located on the southern tip of Manly, North Head National Park offers great bushwalks and panoramic views of the city.
