I don't know the man's name, but he was carving smoked turkey hot off the grill. He handed us a huge hunk to try, and it was great. Love the buffet and the hospitality.

This place is a step back in time. The lodge is comfortable with a friendly staff. The restaurant is like eating at Granny's house. The food was delicious and filling.

We went in just for dessert and the fried pies with homemade ice cream are fantastic! We enjoyed it so much we went back again the next night!

We love stopping in here to eat and walk around when we are traveling by. Their buffet has really good food. The store is huge and has some cool stuff to look at. The people are friendly and again, the food was delicious!

Forget your free motel breakfast enjoy a good country breakfast here...would stop for lunch, too! Enjoyed a ham omelet with toast and grits. Toasted needed more toasting, grits very good. Another family member had pancakes and bacon...very good
