Enjoyed a family catch up today at this beautiful venue. The setting, the gardens, the dining rooms, even the flowers were lovely. I'm not usually this picky, but the restaurant opens for business at 12.... but to have people waiting outside in the rain at...More

We live in San Francisco and get to Sydney about every nine months. This is our fat to eat. It never disappoints. We always get the braised lamb shoulder to share, and weighed the John Dory or the chicken to share, along with a lot...More

I went there with my partner and we were really surprised by the quality of each plate. Flavour, quantity and quality of every plate you get. Big bonus for the pumpkin salad as a side that I recommend for everyone. Being able to see the...More

A trap for young players. We had heard that Dynasty had won the Chinese Restaurant of the Year award. Unfortunately our concierge booked us into a down-market dumpling place called "Dinasty" (sic). It had no spirits, no carpet and no white tablecloths and was ridiculously...More

Had a very enjoyable Sunday lunch. The share plates concept worked well. We had shoulder of lamb, which was enough for about four people. Fish was also really tasty. Deserts and cheese topped off the meal. Staff were attentive and efficient. Setting lovely.

We arrived unannounced at 8:35pm on a Sunday, with the kitchen about to close at 9pm. We were provided a nice table by the window. My mum had a small plate of tiger prawns, my wife the pork rump, and I the hanger steak. We...More

Went as a couple in September 2017 for dinner. Beautiful setting, good waiters but disappointed with the food - lamb shoulder was amazing as everyone else has said but we had 2 entrees - burrata and the Hiramasa Kingfish - the fish was not as...More

Over the years we've had the pleasure of dining at some of the best restaurants in Sydney (incl. Quay, Bridgeroom, Sepia and Rockpool). Some of these had more amazing and creative dishes, some had outstanding staff to match what was being served but the overall...More

Description
CHISWICK Restaurant is a superb casual dining venue co- owned by Matt Moran and Peter Sullivan. CHISWICK is a neighbourhood restaurant, where the menu is designed for sharing, reflecting the simplicity of great produce and changing seasons. The heart of CHISWICK is its kitchen garden where much of the produce for the menu will be grown. The approach is something altogether more natural, continually evolving, where the emphasis is on where the food comes from and how it is grown.
