Sitting outside on a summer's night looking at a soft pink sunset added a lot to this experience. The calamari is excellent and there is a very good cauliflower dish. The main course fresh local fish was good enough, competent but not to die for. There is a house Chardonnay by Farr - it was the highlight for me

A la Grecque was simply outstanding. Deserving of a hat. Food equal to often surpassing the best in melbourne or anywhere for that matter. Local flavours and fresh produce dominate. Service brilliant. Passion evident. A must visit for any occasion. Come for lunch to soak in the Airey's surrounds.

A la Grecque could well be the best Greek restaurant outside Greece. A big statement, but these days when diners are looking for authenticity, character, good service and fine food, this restaurant delivers on all counts. In addition, the owner is on hand to welcome guests and advise on the wine list. This personal touch is hard to come by... More

When I think of Greek restaurants, I think of those strips in Melbourne with strong Greek cultural traditions: Lonsdale Street, Swan Street, Oakleigh, and so on. I certainly dont think of the Surf Coast, and yet, here in beautiful Aireys Inlet, is a very successful Greek restaurant, A La Grecque. The restaurant is housed in a large space with indoor... More

Delightful meal with the kids at this restaurant. We sat outside on the verandah and enjoyed the late afternoon sun, the meal was delicious and fresh. Highly recommended.

Every now and then life gives you those special moments that makes you appreciate life just a little more. We were very fortunate to have such a humble and rewarding experience at a la Greque, a fabulous Greek inspired restaurant at Aireys Inlet. It happened to us on a gloomy and windy day along the Great Ocean Road. The weather... More

Booked a table for New Years Eve, arrived and was told it was a $125 a head set menu. We were never told it was a set menu when we booked and explained this to the waitress. She was slightly apologetic. We were not looking to spend or eat this much so we left and on the way out what... More

We went here on a tuesday night. We ordered snapper and flathead, the flathead was tasteless the texture of mush and we sent it back to be replaced with snapper which was edible but obviously not fresh. Everything was otherwise passable The beetroot wedges clearly leftover from yesterday. This is the second time this establishment has not lived up to... More

Tonight we experienced the most unprofessional situation. 4 of us booked a table at this restaurant and were enjoying our drinks and company. Unfortunately our evening took a drastic turn for the worse when a couple were seated next to us by a waitress. The owner brutally dressed down the waitress, causing the couple untold humiliation and every table around... More
