One of the few places open during the week in Clunes, Husband and I enjoyed simple but delicious toasted sandwiches with coffee for lunch on a rickety outdoor table. Nice atmosphere.

Family run old style bakery and café, friendly service from either the family members or young staff. All food is made in house including a variety of pies sausage rolls and pasties, we sampled some vegetarian pies and they were lovely. Coffee was above average for a small country town.

Had a sausage roll $3.30 and the beef and burgundy pie (alleged anyway) $5.70 a drink $4.00 and sauce 2x30C - was charged $13.70 and no individual prices listed (just classes of pies)!!- I opted for the dearer chunkie - woops!! The sausage roll had the hardness of a crow bar (I ate that as I have good teeth) and... More

Have just had the most amazing chilli con carne pie. We went for a drive to this cute little town and stopped for coffee. Very friendly staff and tasty hot coffee. Bought a vanilla slice for the way home which was just delicious. Will definately be a regular visitor here now. Loved it

A bit disappointed in both the pie and the pastie, we had a curry pie which did not have much meat or gravy and I think was a sweet curry as there seemed to be lots of apple(I think) cubes in it. The meat and vegetable pastie didn't have a whole lot of meat plenty of potato and a few... More

The vegie pastie was disappointing but the meat pie was delicious. The staff member that served me didn't seem that interested. Came across as 'just a bakery' nothing special which was a shame because it looked lovely from the outside

Friendly staff and good food make this a popular stop for people visiting Clunes. Lovely outdoor area looking out to the main street is perfect for relaxing with a book from the many local booksellers (most of them are only open on the weekend though).

Thank PSie
