This is where you find good food friendly service and everything is made in house. Now that they have their liquor license it's even better : )

the Japanese chef may have left, but the local lady who has taken over the cooking, really understands the chemistry of cooking...beautiful food, complemented by local wines, worth more than a look. a great breakfast, brunch, lunch place!

A little gem that deserves more recognition - the chef/owner cooks amazing Asian inspired dishes and the coffee is great!

What a difference a month makes. The Japanese chef has left and the Wanda Inn has reopened, serving standard fare at high prices. Badly. I had chips that were still frozen in the middle, duck leg that was overcooked to the point of being waxy...More

A Wanda Inn looks like a regular cafe - fish and chips if you are lucky. But the reality is Michelin star quality food served in small portions at barely more than pub prices. It's an odd combination but for the bargain prices, the lack...More

This little shop front on the high side of town opposite the doctors is deceptive. From the outside it just looks like another amatuer cafe with hard chairs and tables, but wait till you taste the food! The chef here does wonders with fish, steak...More

The locals don't want you to know about this place - we want to keep it to ourselves. Sitting out the front recently enjoying the winter sunshine & our breakfast of french toast with house made brioche, eggs, bacon & maple syrup (which was super...More

Fabulous food at good prices in a low key setting. Staff really friendly and a welcome break from the mass catering going on up the street from here.

As many reviewers have noted, do not be put off by the humble sidewalk exterior, this fantastic lunch spot on the main drag in Healesville is well frequented by the locals. Bookings are not taken nor required - simply hang about until the table of...More

A young Japanese Chef, trained at Chateau Yering and Jacques Reymonde, has taken over this cafe in Healesville. The food is brilliant and truly innovative. He is being assisted by another cook who has had 2 x 2hat 'Cheap Eats ' cafes in Healesville. A fabulous newcomer!
