Sunday night early dinner with friends. We ordered pickles, eggplant chips, siverbeet salad, salt and pepper squid, grilled chicken and porterhouse steak. Everything had quality ingredients competently cooked with a middle eastern twist. Washed down by elderflower lemonade on ice. Delicious.

Great food and atmosphere. Excellent service and selection of drinks. Can be noisy so if you want a quiet conversation, not the best for that.

Description
Herd Bar & Grill incorporates an urban meets rural interior offering something unique and completely new to the Yarra Valley. This subterranean bunker wouldn’t be out of place in the city and has been likened to any groovy bar in New York City. Chef Trevor's food style is modern Australian influenced by his love for Middle Eastern flavours and encourages shared plate grazing or dining. Boasting a late licence, Herd Bar caters and is welcoming to all, offering sensational service, ambience in an unpretentious relaxed space, a must destination whist meaning the glorious Yarra Valley.
