Quick bite to eat for lunch. Food was ok but nothing to rave about. Service was good. Had a serve of flathead and chips which were nice and Susie had toasted sandwich, hard to stuff that up!

Port Albert Cafe & Wine bar, is a delightful gem. Also known as The General Store, the building has a long history in the seaside village. The range of dishes offered is extensive, with delightful varieties offered. Fully licensed, a variety of local beers and wines are stocked. Kim's magnificent cakes are made on the premises, so if you just... More

We had 3 children - Staff were friendly & accommodating. Coffee was strong & big! Lovely assortment of cakes & snacks. We sat in the back room with a wall of great recipe books to flick through while we waited. Lovely!!

There were 6 of us with ages ranging from 9 years to 84 years. The menu was extensive and certainly had something to suit everyone. We all chose different meals and were not disappointed. Delicious, modern style cuisine and the service was excellent. I had the zucchini and haloumi fritters and it came with a wonderful dipping sauce and lovely... More

A day trip out with parents to Port Albert and we had to try the Cafe and Wine bar.I saw the review last year in the paper and it was a must to try it out.The food was quality and the quantity was enough to keep you going until dinner time, and the waitresses were helpful with our needs

Let me start by saying that Port Albert is an awesome little gem of a town. The people are friendly and there is some great places to see. I have been to this little wine bar a few times and had great service by the girls there when its been not so busy but the owner doesn't seem to handle... More

We came for a late lunch with our young daughter. Waitresses were charming, accommodation dating and diligent. Steal sandwich was an enormous serve (just right for my husband's appetite) and my chicken, spinach and tarragon sausage roll was delicious. They packed up my daughter's leftovers, and even topped up her smoothie. A perfect spot in a sleepy village!!

My second overnight stay in Port Albert ( would love to stay longer) and so happy to find this fabulous cafe. Wonderful ambience, melt in the mouth lemon pie, brilliant coffee. A treasure , and do hope whoever buys it, maintains the standard

We had coffee and scones on a break in Port Albert. Being mid-afternoon, it was fairly quiet in the restaurant so we had service laid on. The coffee was great and the scones with homemade jam and cream really hit the spot.

We went for a drive a couple of weeks ago and ended up at Port Albert. We arrived around 11.15 and was offered the breakfast menu. We had already had breakfast so I asked if we could have the Corn Beef Sandwich which was on the lunch menu. The young girl came back and advised that we could. I also... More
