We stayed at the Renaissance and walked over the 417 Union for breakfast. It was worth the walk. Excellent selection of breakfast meals and reasonably priced. Our party had an omelet, pancakes and Anthony's Favorites. Everything was excellent and the service was good. They have Coke products which is important for the Diet Coke lovers.

My big country breakfast lived up to its name: 3 sunny side up eggs, a strip of bacon, a small slice of ham, a sausage patty, a freshly baked biscuit and fried potatoes. The coffee was fresh and just wonderful! I should have shared my breakfast as it is too big for one person. The restaurant's interior was nice and... More

Service was fantastic and the breakfast was nothing short of exceptional. Anyone who finds this cute diner less than extraordinary probably would not be happy anywhere.

Wide variety of breakfast food, which also was very tasty for a reasonable price. Service was casual, didn't wait too long for the food to be served, although it was quite busy. Also the location of the restaurant is decent, have many parking options and just in the middle on downtown.

Sadly, the server did not offer southern hospitality, nor was the food hot, considering we were one of two parties in the place Monday morning. Very disappointing.

Our concierge (at the Omni hotel) recommend 417 for brunch. 417 is much bigger than it looks. It has a second floor which is very open and bright. The food was very good. I had the Chicken and Waffles which the waiter said was the best thing on the menu. It was very good but I have to say that... More

We saw a sign for Bloody Marys and after reading a little information about the building ( historic) we thought it would be worth the try. The Bloody Marys were delicious and amongst the fixing was a large smoked slice of bacon. They had some specialties. Service was great!

Dinner before a play at TPAC. Like eating in a cozy downhome kitchen. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Our waiter Mike was attentive and pleasant. The banana pudding was one of the best this Southern girl has had.

Great home cooked American food in a "Dixie" historical environment, with friendly service and reasonable prices. Recommend.
