I did carry out as I was staying in a local hotel , bartender that took care of order was pleasant , almost bubbly . Enjoyable banter. I chose this place based on the lemon artichoke soup, which was very very good . I also had a salad with salmon, the salmon was prepared perfectly, grilled with nice seasoning .... More

We dined at Midtown Cafe recently with a large party. The location is convenient but there is no parking - must use valet and then they line the cars right up against the buildings facade. No big deal as there is no view anyway. The service was very friendly and professional - no issues there. The food was fine but... More

Thank you for your comments. Due to construction next door last year we lost a 16 space parking lot, thus limiting us to valet only after 10:30 am weekdays due to more customer cars than spaces available normally in the current construction boom Midtown area of West End / Nashville. Now in our 30th Anniversary this year, we proudly offer... More

Thanks for your gracious comments on our environment, service and biscuits. We had a party of 6 (3 couples) that ate dinner before seeing a show at Tennessee Performing Arts Center. The food was excellent and our server was great too! The best part was the shuttle that took us from the restaurant to TPAC and picked us up right from the front door! I would highly recommend this if you... More

Thank you for your thoughtful comments. We do provide shuttle services after dinner to our downtown performance venues including Ryman Auditorium, Bridgestone Arean and War Memorial with shuttle reservations by phone only. Open Table does not allow us to prevent overbooking of shuttles online. We have been doing this for 6 years with great success and happy customers. It is... More

Randy Rayburn is one of the great Nashville restaurateurs of the past 3 decades. His customers have reemIned loyal even after he closed the very special Sunset Grill. Midtown cafe serves great breakfast, lunch and dinner and even provides nightly round trip transportation to downtown events. Frequented by lots of music industry execs and celebs it is very special.

We went for breakfast near our hotel and sat in Ashley's section. She is a true professional! She was attentive, friendly and very helpful. The food is very good, and even though one of the poached eggs was a bit over done, the flavors were wonderful, as was the avocado toast. Will go back for dinner next time.

Very small place tucked next door to Hattie B's. Valet driver was prompt and very courteous. We were about 15 minutes early so sat at the empty bar for a drink. Thank you for your comments. Perhaps, he should have noted they are locally brewed as is listed on the Beer menu. Angels Envy bourbon is one... More

Since 1987, we believe in quality ingredients cooked with a Southern touch and friendly professional service. We get lots of compliments on all 3 types of our biscuits we serve. We have other breads, but believe you should put some South in your mouth.🤗 More

We arrived on an early flight in for the long weekend before our room Was available.
