Great place for breakfast, the biscuits were smaller than I thought they would be but when you have five on a plate i can see why. The pimento cheese and fried green tomato biscuit was great! Everything else my family order was very good. They have quite a few little shops around the restaurant so it's nice to see all... More

Took friends to Loveless Cafe on our second visit to Nashville, fantastic breakfast. If you go on the weekends be prepared to wait, its just that good. Visit the shops while you wait, this time we talked with the head smoker and had a little private tour from him, very interesting and he had been up most of night working.

This is a must stop if you're going to Nashville. It's a good 30 min drive if you stay out by the grand ol oprey. Nice scenic drive though. Plus you can cross off the plantation while you're out that way. Expect to wait an hour. There are plenty of things to do while you wait. Also things to entertain... More

The service was fast, and the food was delicious. I always ask the server the most popular and their favorite item - so I went with the brisket. It was so flavorful and the sauce was perfect for me, not too much on the meal. Great drinks too with local items. This place has shopping around and stuff for the... More

We have been going to Loveless for 50 years - one of us grew up in Nashville and one has been going for >35 years when visiting. Since relocating back to Nashville, we have been to Loveless Cafe on numerous occasions. It still has sentimental value for us - but the bottom line is that the biscuits are really borderline... We visited here for breakfast on a Tuesday morning about 10AM and were pleasantly surprised to find no line. We were seated promptly and presented with a plate of biscuits and jams. I opted for the country sampler because I wanted a small taste of everything. It was perfect...eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, hash brown casserole, sausage gravy and of course,... More

Loveless cafe is a sweet spot with great people! We felt right at home when we were seated, and the food was incredible! I could live off of those biscuits.

The best thing about this restaurant are the amazing biscuits that never end. They bring them out like a Mexican restaurant serves chips. My kids also loved that they could order pancakes for dinner. Some of our party got fried chicken. I got the chicken fried steak and it was disappointing. Like something you'd get in a TV dinner only... More

We went because everyone rcommended it. It is a venue with shops & event center, not just a cafe. On a week day there was a 1 1/2 hour wait! The biscuits are purported to be "melt in your mouth". They were buttery, but just average, really. Would not go again.

Set in the diner of a former road-side motel, this is the very definition of southern comfort food. Everything on the menu is good. I personally go there for their famous biscuits and homemade jams: blackberry (personal fav), orange marmalade, and strawberry. Our kids get the chicken "fingers" almost every time, but they are so big, that we call them... More

Description
The Loveless Motel and Cafe first started serving its famous fried chicken and biscuits in 1951. A favorite spot to grab a good ole country breakfast for locals and tourists alike, today the Loveless Cafe serves more than 400,000 guests a year and makes between 4,000 to 7,000 biscuits a day, using founder Annie Loveless' original secret recipe. The Food Network awarded the Southern eatery with its best biscuits award in 2010.
