Good food, featuring Cat Fish, fresh vegetables and a bar for drinks. On the weekends they have a bluegrass band for your entertainment. Bring the kids and have a good time!

Cool restaurant, great menu and friendly staff. Has a country camping/cabin feel. An indoor pond with catfish swimming around. Would recommend if staying in the Opryland area.

The restaurant is chock full of fishing memorabilia and has live fish pond. The ribs were excellent. The grilled shrimp was good. Service was sporadic due to a large party being served It is a good basic southern restaurant.

Food was good, enjoyed the music but the band moved right after we were seated near it. Megan was great--we enjoyed chatting with her during dinner.

We were staying at the Opryland resort and were tired of paying outlandish prices for mediocre food. So we decided to take an 8 minute walk to Caney Fork. We were so glad we did. Atmosphere is fantastic. It's what I would expect as an...More

We weren’t sure about this one with the taxidermy, old trucks and fishpond in the restaurant. We figured there was a good chance it was setup as a one-time tourist trap. The Caesar Salad and half chicken were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The service ended...More

After a long day in Nashville, we stopped because of the wonderful smell of BBQ. Well our noses were right. The down home cooking hit the spot. My husband had fried Catfish with mashed potatoes with the darkest brown gray. He loved it. I had...More

When in Nashville, this is one of our usual stops due to its convenience and good food. You can get some food not available at most restaurants (gator tail, bison, elk, etc). My wife and I split a combo with 1/2 rack of ribs and...More

Sorry, I don't know but I do know that they fry their fries in the same oil as the fish because we inquired about shellfish allergies.

For my husband and I it would be considered a short walk. Maybe 20 minutes. So yes, if you are in fairly good shape, you could walk to this restaurant.
