This place is fun and I love to bring my own hootch. The food isn't legendary (I've been here many times) but it's a different outing with friends in the middle of nowhere. You wait in the parking lot until you get to come inside the tiny house and hear a very loud one man band. You can drink, sing... More

They're on top of the taste from the region. If you're looking for a little Cajun dinner this is the place to go.

As a major fan of New Orleans my daughter's recommendation of a former laundromat holeinthewall a few miles from their country homestead WAY out in the woods didn't sound inviting. But she kept saying we just HAD to go. So we took a family gathering of 10 on a warm Sunday evening and we were blown away. The menu is... More

We love Cajun food and music, and that's what we got. It's a really small area, so do not be shocked with that. The live entertainment was perfect for the atmosphere. We were told beforehand it's a BYOB, unless drinking soda/tea/water. We were with a group of friends so we all ordered together and got a sampling and everything we... More

Miles from anything larger than a hamlet or a village on a narrow county road we came upon a cinder block building. As we pulled into the gravel parking lot, we saw what appeared to be the restaurant staff sitting outside. They welcomed us in and said to choose any table. We were early on a Thursday and the only... More

Our first Cajun experience. Wow! Not a huge menu, but the quality makes up for that! Crawfish and Shrimp Effouee was delicious. Hubby had the huge standard portion- the smaller appetite was as much as I needed! And the fried Oysters- superlative. Took our own wine and beer. Service excellent- helpful and cheerful waitress. Chef and sous chef came to... More

A group of New Zealand friends and myself came here for a meal. Be ready for a tiny little restaurant with the friendliest staff, the tastiest Cajun food and a real cozy family atmosphere. This restaurant has made me fall in love with Cajun and I hope to take some of the flavour home with me. Boudin balls, Gumbo, chicken... More

I believe the Best Restaurants in the United States are in New Orleans! With that being said; I was blown away by the quality and quantity of food served at Papa B's Cajun Cafe! Recently my wife and I along with some friends visited Papa B's. Heck, I thought I was back in the French Quarter of New Orleans! The... More

New Orleans is one of our favorite areas to visit, so we know the real thing. This is not it. Not bad for what it is in general, just don't come expecting the real cajun food the way they state they're all about and that we did therefore expect. Plus, I would expect FAR better accommodations at this price point... More

I love this place. The food and vibe here are whole lot better than the one in Franklin. It is in the middle of no where.. BYOB, arrive early, socialize outside, and enjoy the incredible food.
