We looked this place up on Google and it said they were open. When we arrived the owners were doing work on the building and advised us they were closed for the season. Even though they were closed for the season we were allowed to get a huge bucket of dirt and use the sluice box to clean our gems.... More

What a great group of people running this place! If you're looking for kind genuine people and a down to earth, relaxed atmosphere, look no further. We drove eight hours and before we even got to our cabin we stopped here to fish and eat. Right before they closed for the season, a couple hours before they were happy and... More

We are a family of four that came for dinner. From start to finish, ever member of the team at English Mountain was incredibly friendly and happy. The experience is unique and fun, from fishing for your own dinner (it's easy and fun!) to sitting down in the cozy dining area and enjoying your fresh cooked fish (the one you... More

As our last day in Pigeon Forge approached, we decided we really wanted to do something memorable! This was definitely memorable and the best decision we made all trip. Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly dogs and cats and an amazing family. One of their assistants, Dot, helped us rig up our fishing poles and explained to us how... More

Our last day in Sevierville, TN, we went over to English Mountain Trout Farm - the kids were wanting to fish. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly, beautiful dog. Doc, the assistant, prepped the line for the kids and they started fishing right away. In less than half an hour, we were all eating the... More

Stating the facts - we have come here for years with the family and have always loved it. During the week for lunch we called and no one answered, checked the website to make sure the Trout Farm was open and when our family showed up - we were told it was closed. However, everything was open and their sign... More

This is our second visit to English Mountain Trout Farm and both visits have been wonderful. From the experience to catching your own dinner to the actual dinner is a simply superb. This recent visit was the first for our 13yr old daughter and she had a great time catching our lunch for us. This is a must for everyone!

My wive and I have been meaning to check this place out and we finally did. It was a great experience, I even brought my own baitcaster rod and reel. Way over kill for this small pond but wanted to test out my gear. It was fun hooking a good size fish on my Abu Garcia. Adam was very helpful... More
