We had our wedding ceremony on the beach, and then reception dinner and evening entertainment at Spice Mill Restaurant. I can say it was the best day & night of our lives!! The owner and staff were very attentive, both before our wedding (walk through), and for the entire day/night. Nothing was too much trouble and they accommodated last minute... More

My son and I enjoyed an excellent dinner. He chose the tuna served with rice and fresh vegetables, and I ordered the vegetarian risotto. We began the meal with a very flavorful Caesar salad, accompanied by the restaurants "Johnny cakes". The staff was so warm and professional. It was dark when we arrived, but our table afforded a view of... More

It's all about expectations. If you are going for the view - go during the day. But I do not recommend having lunch at the restaurant. When we went - out of conch fritters, mahi strips were greasy and bready and nachos basic junk food. Very poor service. Only thing good was catch of the day. Instead - eat at... More

Hi John We do appreciate review, especially that it is honest and descriptive. We do a apologize for the service and food issues. The week during Christmas and New Years is one which can be extremely overwhelming with many unexpected Cruise Line customers with no reservations and many waiting until 15 minutes before they leave to order food. Nonetheless we... More

My family of 5 and I were referred to the Spice Mill by the staff at the Marriott and many others who had traveled to St. Kitts previously. We went for lunch around 1:30 and the meal took over 1 hour to come out of the kitchen. The service was very very slow and overall inattentive to our requests. After... More

Thank you for your review. The last week we did have some days where I would be the first to admit that we were overwhelmed especially at lunch. It is a time when the cruise lines are packed and with huge families and no reservations. We try our best to accommodate but truth be told while we can turn around... More

We were extremely excited about our reservation at spice mill, but the excitement ended when we were seated 40 minutes after our reservation. The manager hardly even apologized and we were seated in what appeared to be an extra table on the outskirts of the seating area. Then we were presented a fixed price menu that we were not informed... More

the Spicemill is a great estuary the overlooking the beach. The food lives up to the name of the restaurant. Each dish is prepared with a unique spice and care that makes it a joy to eat hear. The service is quiet but effective. The ambiance is beautiful and serene and the food is heavenly.

Amazing setting but while the service was nice it was really slow. They did not have enough staff to accommodate the crowd. Food was good but not great. We enjoyed the lobster bisque, the risotto and the grilled lobster tail. Mahi was average. Shrimp cocktail was too small.

Spending Christmas Eve dinner in St. Kitts we decided to head to the beach. The Spice Mill looks to be renovating and not much from the parking lot. But, a beach side table with white table cloths was quite nice. Too bad the wind was blowing the canvas roof hard. We started with seafood soup, grilled calamari salad and a... More

Friday night prime time and there were less than a dozen patrons in this sizable restaurant. Felt as if we were the only people on the island who hadn't received the notice not to go here. The food was barely average and waaaay more money than it was worth. Wife and I spent $177.00 US $ for one drink each,... More

This is the nicer of places to eat in Cockleshell. The beach was very nice and accessible just outside the restaurant with complimentary lounges and umbrellas for extra. We enjoyed our plate of fries as it rained and cut short our day on the beach.
