The Flagstop... Don't let the gas station out front fool you. There is a great little restaurant inside. Breakfast entrees include eggs cooked how you like, crispy hash browns, bacon, sausage, omlettes, and a pancake so big you might not be able to eat the whole thing. Good burgers for lunch.

Man I have eaten here numerous times and it doesn't disappoint. From breakfast to lunch I always leave full. Even took my 20 year old son for breakfast he ordered 2 breakfast tacos and almost couldn't finish them. They were big.

Stopped off for a quick bite passing through. Liked my hamburger and the french fries weren't special but not greasy. These folks need to hire a bus boy. When I left there were nine tables that needed cleaning. In speaking with a couple patrons this place is a local favorite. Bang for the buck was average. Burger, fries & ice... More

This has been a local favorite for years, featuring everything Texas fried, especially the burgers, fries, and chicken. Sides are more home cooked. A serve yourself kind of place. Crowded, noisy, hustle and bustle. Just good diner food. A fun place to watch other people enjoying eating.

Classic diner attached to a gas station. The mural says they have been here from 1986 - 2016. If it weren't for the attached gas station convenience store, I would say it was like 1956 - and that is praise. When I ordered, I could see the staff dipping chicken into flour for the fried chicken - not your quick... More

Granted, I was starving but the burger was excellent. Avoiding carbs so I got it without bun and broccoli instead of fries. The broccoli was excellent. My husband enjoyed his more carb laden burger and fries just as much.

The food here was good but over priced. No table service. You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. Very good coffee. Overall an average cafe.

Tired and hungry after driving on I-10 most of the day, we pulled over for gas and a bite to eat before tackling the drive (bad!) through San Antonio. A treat! The food was fresh and hot...and good.

Great selection and prices; loved the daily special and the atmosphere. Had the chicken fried steak and it was great. The chocolate cake for desert was one of the best we have had.
