It had been several years since I had eaten at Casa Rodriguez. Although the service was good on an exceptionally busy Saturday, the food was typical TexMex. Perhaps a bit less seasoned than most Mexican food.

We visited during first Friday in downtown Bryan. Yes it was busy, bit service handled the crowd quickly and friendly. The food was very good and fresh. I ordered beef fajitas and was happy with the quality. If you like spicy, ask for the green salsa. They don't advertise it and serve upon request. Recommend this restaurant for families and... More

I have deliberately stayed away from Casa Rodriguez because it had gone down hill in terms of service quality and food preparation. Because of an invitation from friends to have breakfast at this Downtown Bryan Mexican restaurant, I returned after a year's absence. Our server was friendly but somewhat slow; too, she had difficulty in getting our order correct. The... More

My daughter and her husband love to eat here but it is not one of my favorite Mexican food places to eat. The food, in my opinion, is very bland as far as seasoning.

Great place for standard Mexican food. Ambience as expected and staff very nice. Nice enough place to meet friends for dinner.

When we first came to College Station in 2010 we asked about the best Mexican food and Casa Rod's was first on a lot of people's list. After visiting there a few times we came to agree. For the last five years we have made it a regular stop on Friday nights. It's in downtown Bryan for those that might... More

Gotta try it. Especially fun after a football game. Both Aggies and visitors can be found enjoying some really good Mexican food.

This is only one of two places in B/CS to get real TexMex. Stopped in for breakfast the last time and had huevos rancheros. Truly authentic. The service is good and the people are nice.

Good place in old downtown Bryan. Stopped on a Friday night, busy but sat right down in about 5 minutes. Asked the waitress who was the owners daughter for her favorites...she was super friendly and helpful. Had two of the CR feature plates. Both good. Beer is ice cold. Several people having big margaritas...all of the staff was friendly and... More
