I'm not exaggerating when I say that they have the best breakfast tacos I've ever had (and I've had a lot). Their homemade tortillas are amazing. Order "The Same" and you won't be disappointed. They recently started serving dinner and even have some alcohol on their menu - mimosas go great with breakfast tacos. And the prices are crazy good,... More

Fairly decent mexican food. The service was a little slow. And the tortillas where tough and cool. The restrooms are not really nice. And it has just one restroom, shared by all.

Casa Alde was started by Helen over 30 years ago. The ceiling has tin tiles, the floors are I'm sure the original wood, great mural. Family run still by Helen's son and family. I especially love the migas supreme and the nachos. My hubby always gets the beef fajita tacos. Our grandsons are growing up with breakfast at Casa Alde.... More

Sometimes the food is amazing, and sometimes disappointing. There are better places to eat in buda now. But the breakfast tacos are good.

I have never had lunch here. I always had breakfast. Their breakfast tacos and early morning service has always been friendly, really good, and fairly fast. Let's talk about the lunch, though. I was so disappointed that I sat on this review for a few days before writing it today. This restaurant is a Main Street business and has been... More

Have been there a few times. The food is home made by Helen. It is good and priced well. A small loyal local following. It is a family restaurant with indoor seating. Parking is right out front. Nice quiet restaurant for couples or families.

I am sure they have fairly good lunch food. It certainly seems popular with the Buda downtown crowd and lots of groups meet here. I mainly come in for the breakfast tacos since they have a decent price of under $2 for a two item taco. I usually get it to go and take it back home or eat it... More

Arriving late one sunday morning the place was packed. The low ceilings and subdued lighting doesnt do the place justice. I asked for a cup of tea with some milk and got a glass of milk! The idea of eating a meal with cow juice isnt something that I have tried in public before but I gave it go and... More

Homemade flour tortillas stuffed to the brim with fresh hot ingredients. The "fatty" breakfast taco is the favorite with our family. It is a weekend tradition in this household.

Wanted to try this place out because we have noticed it usually had a long line of people waiting to get in during the mornings. Well we got in one day- after waiting 30 minutes. Even though we sat practically in the middle of the restaurant it was hard to get someone to get us coffee. The order took an... More
