Having prebooked a table for 2pm on a Saturday, we arrived presumably on the Chef's break ! As we were hungry we ordered two portions of garlic bread to share as a starter. I took 40 minutes to appear and it didn't taste of garlic. 3 minutes after our main course arrived. This was disappointing. If the proprietor can only... More

I visited U.K. and remembered this place from before. It was delightful. The food was superb, the staff very friendly and I enjoyed speaking to the locals about places to visit. I had read recent reviews that were not good but I have visited this wonderful local pub several times over the years and it has never disappointed

This is a friendly pub and we have visited this establishment before. So after a busy week we decided to eat on a Saturday night. The ale is very good and the ambience on arrival was acceptable. However once the meal was ordered it was like being in whirlwind. the staff were constantly walking by our table and clearing the... More

We ate in the restaurant at lunchtime, and there was a warm welcome as well as a real log fire. The pub is not a large one, but it does have a pleasant country feel to it, and we felt comfortable and relaxed there. We had home made soup each ( broccoli and stilton) and a jacket potato with tuna... More

We visited lunch time and ordered the basket meals on the menu, when they arrived I was very surprised to see the food was served in the basket with nothing underneath usually the when basket meals are served they have paper in between the basket and food but when we saw our food it looked so unhygienic and wondered how... Very friendly pub quite small and quaint with a lovely fire. Food was beautiful apart from the vegetarian options were limited and quite expensive when it arrived it wasn't hot and was pretty tasteless.

Never had such a ruined piece of fish. They did have the good grace to agree however and didn't charge for it. The pizza was bland, the base had a powdery aftertaste, the tomatoe puree type paste was brigh orange and had no discernable taste. The waiting staff were very sweet and apologetic. I felt sorry for them being required to... More

The Radnor Arms is an example of an English pub at its finest - from food to home-brewed ales. Lots of character has been retained in what was formerly a blacksmith - modernising without going down the bland and dreaded gastro-pub route. We stopped off at the beginning and at the end of a circular walk in the nearby countryside... More

Returned to the Radnor Arms after a 5 year break. The Real Ale is excellent, and my Husband really enjoyed the game pie and Christmas pudding, The Atmosphere is good, the waitresses were lovely, but the young man in charge didn't speak to us until we were going out of the door. The forge still retains it's character for dining.... More

What a hidden treasure! We had a lovely meal, by the fireside. Very friendly staff were most welcoming and the food was delicious. Just what you would expect from a country pub. Why had I driven past so many times??? Wish I'd discovered this place years ago. We'll definitely be back, loved it :-)
