Been to this Applebee's several times. Never busy and I can tell you why. Slow service, not great food disappointed in every way. Avoid!

The food arrives at your table fresh and hot, and the servers are always attentive. I love the variety of salads on the menu, but I have to say that all of the foods that I have tried are tasty.

I just wanted some simple soup and a small salad to go. How could they screw that up? The young man taking orders seemed to have no idea how to use the computer screen. He then said it would take about 6 minutes to get the order. 15 minutes later I checked with them. Oops. He hurriedly tossed something in... More

This particular Applebee's Restaurant is located right next to the Home2 Suites and a Hampton Inn hotels on Texas Avenue (walking distance to both). Each time we have attended the staff has been very hospitable and the food rates well for a mid-level / mid-cost restaurant. There is a full service bar for beer and mixed beverages.

We used to like Applebees a lot. BUT--The loud awful music overpowered our being able to talk to each other. The "Offer" 2 for $20.00 deal was a few chicken entrees. We are both allergic to chicken. Very few customers, several waitresses, slow service. However once Shelby became our waitress, we were treated very kindly. Shelby was attentive, always had... More

This was the first time we had ever eaten at an Applebee's. When we were first seated, we asked to be moved. The seats in the booth were absolutely uncomfortable, it seems that the stuffing is all sacked out; and the smell, oh the smell was unappetizing, even downright disgusting. We were moved to a table and no smell. We... More

nice menu selections; very convenient for take-out. In general, Applebees locations are way too noisy for me, but in a pinch, and with take-out facilities, they're fine.

The location is convenient to the hotel, and the wait staff is pleasant and helpful. The food is average and they frequently run out of some of their beer choices. The wine selection is not the best, but if you're a light beer and appetizers kind of person walking from your hotel, it's a good place to go.

Little pricey for a lunch, pretty tight lunch special menu. Not much of a choice. Avoid the french onion soup. The smell will bother you table mates.

My food was delicious, my husband had a steak and it was overcooked and tuff, service by our server was a little slow, but I just feel that was the individual. This is a college town so noise level was higher than a normal Applebees, but not obnoxious.
