We normally eat at Rudy's BBQ, but the people we were with wanted to go to C&J BBQ. I had the turkey, with fried okra and potatoes. It was good, but not as good as Rudy's turkey and creamed corn! I would say it's comparable to a Dickey's BBQ.

So I have had just about all their meats and I enjoyed them all. Their brisket is moist and juicy and the jalapeno cheese sausage is my personal fav. The sides are great, bbq sauce is nice and tangy and the beer is ice cold. You can solo dine or get family packs to serve up to 50 people. I... More

I had the 3 meat/2 vegetable lunch plate. Ranch potatoes were really good. Okra was pretty good. Ribs were GREAT. Beef brisket was a little dry for my taste. Pork loin was good. The employees were great fellas! Oh, the peach cobbler I'd highly recommend!

Lots of BBQ brisket in Texas. C&J's original location on Harvey Rd is the best. O - I know some over in Lockhart think they are the king of the hill, but truth is the best is here in College Station.

We found that the the ribs were not as well cooked as the CJ's original location. The brisket was poorly cut and had lots of fat. Once again not as good as CJ's original location. Great for the college crowd but not true blue BBQers!!!

The BBQ and all the fixin's are delicious. Tender/juicy brisket. The sides are all very good. And that Peach Cobbler - YUM!

Recommended by a local. Yummy Texas style bbq. Just the right amount of smokey favour. I had pork ribs and brisket. Country ranch mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. All very good!

April 30th, my husband and I went to this restaurant for lunch. He ordered the brisket and I ordered the chicken. His was done and good, as usual. My chicken was pink in several spots and the "white" meat was off white and not done. I brought this to the employees' attention and they called for the "manager." He came... More

Several of us decided to go for a drive and stopped here for lunch. Very good barbeque!!!! Brisket and pork were very tender with right amount of smoke. There are plenty of meat and platter (with sides) options to satisfy any taste. Many in our group opted for the ribs and raved about them. If you go on Sunday get... More

Found this wonderful BBQ spot while visiting Texas A&M. There are other locations but our visit to this one would be hard to beat. You almost drive by it unless you are looking for it. It is on Harvey near Hwy 30. The inside is decorated with metal signs, odds & ends and sports items from the area. What struck... More
