While the location and parking are great, with all the sushi places in town, this is now at the bottom of my list. The atmosphere is generic, the sushi is heavy handed and the worst turn off to me is that the tables always smell sour (like they need to throw out all of their old sponges and rags. Ewwwww.)... Went here with a group in May. We had called ahead to reserve a large table and were seated pretty quickly. Several in the group ordered sushi and thought it was good. The hibachi was typical of what you would expect and the chef was entertaining. Would definitely return in the future.

We came in a party 7; an Asian hostess acted extremely rude once the first 5 came in and denied to seat us, a senior lady was on our group. Great food, but extremely rude hostess. The only bad thing about our visit was the Asian hostess!

If you are looking for a great hibachi experience, look no further. The portions are large and you get a show. If you are not in a large group, expect to get to eat with a few people you don't know, but everyone is usually having a great time and the atmosphere is really neat. The sushi is great as... More

We go to Atami in Katy thinking this location would be of the same quality. Sadly it is not. We did not eat Hibachi we dined in the regular seating section towards the back by the bathrooms/kitchen. Waiter at 2 pm after lunch rush was in no hurry to get our drink order. Sweet tea for both of us. My... More

It's your typical hibachi but the sushi was very fresh and delicious. We also had a large group (22) and they were extremely accommodating and handled it very well. Their key lime martini was also very good. It was a very enjoyable experience!

The Peacock roll was enjoyable. But my family and I went specifically for Hibachi... It was not worth the wait or the money. Heavy handed with salt and pepper but little other seasoning. They only offer 2 sauce selections (mustard or ginger), neither that impressed... And neither seemed to compliment my shrimp. I ordered a steak, medium rare (how I... More

Nice staff, full bar, great selection of sushi, hibachi, bento boxes. I have a girlfriend born in Tokyo and a master sushi chef, and this place made me miss her and her cooking. Stormchaser says check it out

We just left there after a mid-week date night. I'd eaten in the main restaurant before for lunch. The Bento box is my usual safe bet. Except I never have the salad. Whatever that orange stuff is they call dressing is not to my liking. Some people eat it with no problem. It is NOT for me. I usually see... More
