We stopped here for breakfast on a day trip. We ordered a pancake (which was a good size), Bacon Egg Sandwich, and the Moosehead Omelet....all of which was excellent and well worth the cost. Our waitress, Summer, was wonderful; sad to hear she wouldn't be...working there for much longer. The restaurant is also an antique store and contains alot of neat things as well as souvenirs. We saw an antique washing machine and cash register! If in Crockett, you MUST make time to stop in....even if it is just to see what treasures they hold!More

Drove thru Crockett today and happened upon this local delight. What a surprise! The food was awesome, the service was great and the prices were very reasonable. Great stop. We will go there again when inthe area

This place is REALLY interesting. Very eclectic decor. I had th chicken salad sandwich. It was seriously the BEST chicken salad sandwich I've ever had!!! My friend had the chicken. Strips and said they were amazing. My other friend had the cheesy bacon fries. They...were okay, but not amazing. It was right after the election, so not sure if it is always like this, but lots of political signs.More

I had read so many good things about this cafe so I was really excited to try it. The overall decor had a really cool old school vibe with old yearbooks for patrons to look at while they were waiting. Huge stuffed animal mounts on...the wall, and just an overall feeling that I had walked into a time machine and gone back in time. We ordered a simple breakfast meal...one egg, hash browns and white toast is what I ordered. We had to wait a really long time even though there were only 2 other tables. When the waitress brought my plate it had 2 eggs and no toast. I asked her about it and she indicated that toast didn't come with the meal. I showed her on the menu where it indicated it did. Anyway, to make a long story short, my meal order was wrong and it wasn't the best tasting. I may try it again one day...More

The first thing you notice is it's a lot bigger inside than expected. The second is an overload of patriotism, love of America, and everywhere is memorabilia, local, state, and national and that's just the restaurant. There's far more in the gift store in the...back. The food is good and the service is warm and friendly.More

Located in Crockett's main square across from the courthouse, this small town cafe has small town charm with local pictures on the wall of kids FFA pics as well as paintings of past Texas heroes. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with onion rings &...both were very good especially the onion rings. I would eat here again.More

Three couples ate breakfast here and all of us were pleased. We had a variety of items from the menu and we were very pleased. I had the largest omelette they offer and it was delicious. The wait staff had just started working as the...old staff would not come back after the Covid19 restrictions were lifted. The owner kept coming to check on us but the new staff was doing great. This is good home cooking. But the surprising part was the history inside and that the restaurant is Houston County’s Republican headquarters. The history of politics they have is most interesting. Easy to find. Just drive around the courthouse. We will be back!!!!More
