This is one of our favorite breakfast places in Lakewood, we go there most weekends at least once. The food is good, the prices are cheap, the atmosphere is very local/Lakewood. Not a pretentious place in the least. Great salads, tacos and beer, what more could you want and a totally friendly vibe. Service is always great, and friendly.

Excellent breakfast tacos as well as lunch tacos. But my favorite is the Tex-Mex Caesar salad with fresh fried jalapeños!!! Yum.

breakfast tacos are some of the best in town. breakfast burritos are huge. My "go to" at lunch is the brisket taco plate. I've never had a disappointing meal here

Family friendly, fresh and prompt food delivery, we are making this a weekly lunch spot. If you don't go by 11:45, though, you will have a little wait-- the line forms quickly.

First and foremost I'd like to say "THANK YOU" to the taco GOD for allowing me the opportunity to discover "The Taco Joint". Torchy's Taco was our usual go to spot for tacos but on this particular day we wanted a little something extra.....you know a little umph. So, off I went on a search via Google and It didn't... Went to the new location in Richardson Texas. Our first experience with Taco Joint and it was disappointing. We ordered quesadillas, taco salad, crispy tacos, and guacamole. All the food was bland tasting. Needed salt, onions, cilantro, etc... Cool environment but lacking in tasty food department.

Had the grilled chicken tacos and they were great. Went at dinner time and it was busy but we didn't have to wait too long for our food. The chips and salsa and cheese dip were really good. Some of the folks tried the really hot sauces, they seemed to enjoy them. Would definitely recommend you going, it isn't a... More

A colleague in Dallas hipped me to the Taco Joint during some management meetings. So now, i'm hooked. The variety is good and the price is right too. So I call ahead (the night before), and then just load up a tray and bring them for my staff to team meetings. Don't forget the jalapeño ranch sauce, its so good... More

A lunch oasis in the middle of a food desert near Baylor Hospital. Portion size is large and prices are inexpensive. Lots of choices for carnivores and vegans alike. A bit like Torchy's Tacos but cheaper. I had the lunch pork enchiladas and they were terrific and fresh. Fast and friendly service. A definite keeper!

A great place for lunch. This place is a hidden Gem in East Dallas area. Come and try it. Staff is very friendly and knows the regulars by name.
