I normally am not a huge fan of hotel restaurants, but Texas Spice is an exception. I have had dinner here several times now when staying at the Dallas Omni, and have never had a bad meal. Most recently I ordered a chopped salad, and was served a salad that would have fed two people easily. The waiter seemed disappointed... More

Pros: Easy seating. No wait. Large restaurant. $20 breakfast buffet. Good coffee. Located in the Omni lobby. Oatmeal, fruit, eggs, pastries, etc... Server brought us to-go coffee cups. Cons: No pancakes, waffles, or French toast on the buffet.

We ate at Texas Spice for an early dinner. Our waitress was great. She was nice, friendly, & helpful when one item wasn't correct. Her name is T-Payne. We were brought a complimentary kabob for each person. The kabobs are good. They should put them on the appetizer menu. We ordered an appetizer of chips & salsa. It came with... More

Met some friends for brunch about 10am. Had read the reviews but was still a little hesitant in that it was in a hotel. Arrived after parking on street, very little traffic. Had a look at buffet as we were being seated and it seemed they had everything, even my oatmeal. Price was not great but when compared to ordering... More

Very friendly, prompt service. We came for dinner, really enjoyed the food and so came back the next morning for breakfast. I thought dinner was quite cheap ($20 for all you can eat buffer with soup, salads, sides, meats and amazing desserts) and breakfast was overpriced. No amount of eggs, toast and made-to-order omelets should cost $20. Still, the food... More

Staying at the Omni and attending a conference there as well, Texas Spice offered a handy option to follow up on business meetings. Good cocktails, a tasty flatbread appetizer and the entrees were pretty good, if a little bland. The service was generally good and the ambiance supported some good conversations.

A must visit if staying near the convention center. Staff is super friendly and food is amazing. I generally hate buffets but this was a whole different experience. Everything was fresh and yummy!!!! $20/ person can't be beat

I've been at this hotel for almost 24 hours. This was my 3rd meal in this area and finally some good food. I enjoyed and the price was reasonable! Yeah for Texas Spice...I would eat here anytime. Sandwich and Parmesan fries were delish!!!
