We went for Saturday brunch. We were seated very quickly and our server Adam was very efficient and friendly. The food was good and decent sized servings. We had an omelette, Benedict Grits and Garlic Mushrooms . Drinks were Hot and we had whole milk with our English breakfast tea. Was good to be offered the nice wooden tea box to... More

My boyfriend and I absolutely love southern soul food. However, as much as we enjoy it that's how difficult it is to find heart warming soul food. The kind that leaves you with the long awaited feeling of being hugged by mama. We have traveled throughout Florida, parts of Georgia and now Dallas, T.X., stumbling across establishments that do o.k.... More

Came here on a Friday morning, they have moved from their smaller spot, but this place is just about 50 feet away... plenty of seating, nice people and great food. One of the best downtown diner type places in Dallas.

Horrible service. Place was half full, so not rush hour or busy. Waited 15 minutes to be seated (we were only ones waiting) and then 15 minutes for first cup of coffee. Crazy. Workers just meander around. Prices are over priced for breakfast. $13 for a basic egg breakfast. Do not recommend!!!

I ordered the big pancake breakfast, two big tasty pancakes, two slices of bacon, two sausage patties, hash browns, and scrambled eggs with cheese. The food was delicious!!! The service was great, I will most definitely be returning!

Fabulous breakfast - mine was breakfast tacos - anyway you want it - and a Bloody Mary! What's not to like? I stayed at the Adolphus Hotel downtown. They recommended this restaurant and the towncar drove me to Ellen's. And it was easy walking distance from there to the Perot Museum. I will go back the next time I visit... More
