Forget what you've heard. I've eaten at The Palm DC, Vegas, Palm One (the original) in NYC, West Side Palm, and others. The Palm Dallas has the best filet mignon period! Blows the competition away too. The wait staff is on point and the kitchen kills it. Even the greeters are awesome. The only downside to this restaurant is it's... More

Hi BJ, Well, how can I begin to thank you for such wonderful words? I'm so happy you've enjoyed both the filet (also my favorite steak here) and the service. And keep your eyes and ears open for possible news on a new location, OK? We just might be able to take care of that for you as well! Next... More

In addition to all the family meals at The Palm, I host 4-6 private dinners at the restaurant. Why? It's because of the personalized service, quality of food, professionalism, and reasonable prices. Why go anywhere else when I (and my guests) get treated as someone special. Thanks to the entire Dallas Palm crew for making me look good and for... More

I had been told this was THE place to go. It was average food at best. Service was good. Food was disappointing. Lukewarm bisque was not to my liking.

Hi DeLeigh, Thank you for writing, I appreciate it. I'm disappointed this was your experience, as none of it sounds like our standard, or what has made us a destination for 91 years. If you have time, feel free to call me anytime to let me know the details of what we could have improved for you in addition to... More

Stopped in on a Thursday somewhat late in the evening. The restaurant was a quarter filled with most of the servers hanging out talking to each other. Our bartender, a young woman who had moved from to San Fran to Dallas was cheerful, engaging and delightful to talk with. I have been in other Palm restaurants and was surprised to... More

Hello! I'm so glad you met our Thursday bartender and had a nice time chatting with her, I'll pass the word to her! I certainly hear what you're saying about the decor - we have been a destination in Texas for 33 years, many of the faces on the wall have been loyal regulars since 1984 - the decor can... More

We came here following a recommendation from a guy our friend bumped into on the street. We live in the U.K., but he said we wouldn't be disappointed. Staff were very attentive and knowledgeable, but not over bearing. I ordered the filet mignon and 2 friends shared the 39 ounce Porterhouse. Mine was amazing....melt in the mouth and flavour was... One of the Best Meals I've Had In Dallas. My wife and I took advantage of a weekend Promotion pairing a 9 oz. Filet Mignon with Nova Scotia Lobster Tail on a cool Dallas Sunday evening, We were warmly greeted, ordered a nice red Zinfandel from a list of Selected Discounted Wines (again Sunday and Monday only) and began a... Located in a part of town once more popular than at present. I would have some concerns about personal safety as well as my car, particularly if dining after dark. Food is always above-reproach. Steak tasty and done as ordered. Side of combined onion rings and homemade chips can't be beat. Breadbasket has nice selection. Waitstaff thoughtful and go out... More

Had a business dinner here with about a dozen others. The service was excellent and the food even better. My filet was cooked to perfection and perfectly seasoned. The seasonal berries for dessert were splendid.

We stopped in here for some Prime Bites at the Bar. Since I had never been here and my hjusband had not been here in over 20 years, we wanted to "test the waters" before committing to an expensive dinner. We sat at the bar, ordered a bottle of wine and enjoyed the discounted bites served from 5-7 at the... More

Hello! I can't tell you how happy I am to read this note - what a great idea to check out the bar and enjoy a light meal and some drinks. I'm so glad you enjoyed it, and I'm sure Steve and Cliff, our bartenders, did as well! They tend to make fast friends... When you do decide on that... More
