We walking in to a friendly welcome---had great service from our friendly young waitress who recommended some great choices. the brisket was outstanding and so was the pulled pork. The sauce is served warm and is incredible. Save room for a fried pie. We had the coconut custard and a cherry pie al a mode but the apricot and peach... More

Best BBQ in Dallas. This is the definition of comfort food for me! I love this place. And their salad bar is really good too. A++

Being in Texas you find some extrodinarily really good BBQ. Sorry to say but this is not one of them. Had the combo plate of pulled pork, brisquet and sausage. None of it had the smoky taste of anything. The meat tasted like it came out of the microwave and you had to drown it with some BBQ sauce to... More

We used to eat here 25 years ago, and the place looks and tastes the same as we remembered. Excellent BBQ with good sides. Friendly service. Place almost empty on our visit, except for multiple carry-out visits. I hope they stay in business! Indulge in a fried pie, you won't regret it.

Ate here for dinner. Great service, good food. Had the three meat comb with ribs, brisket and sausage. Overall a good restaurant close to SMU campus with a laid-back atmosphere. For desert I had the peach cobbler. So, so.

There are too many good BBQ places in Dallas to waste your time going here. Service was good small salad bar was just that small and fair.

Had lunch with friends at Peggy Sue's and it was amazing. From the iced tea to the Onion Rings and then an amazing sandwich...All was great. Want to try the brisket next time as it looked great. Loved the "hot" bbq sauce.

Very quick lunchtime service. Smelled quite good, but was somewhat average for Dallas BBQ. The meat was a bit sweeter than I would care for, but might have been offset had I opted for the BBQ sauce. Potato salad is not recommended; was overcooked, watery and rather bland. Great and friendly service though.

I am from California. I enjoyed my meal there at the start of a week long conference at SMU. I felt I had a great quality meal of Texas BBQ.

Good food and service in a pleasant environment. I got the recommended baby back. Tender and flavorful. The rub made them too salty for my tastes.
