We had late lunch here after going to the Blue Bonnet festival. Every place in town was crowded, including this one. The staff was so friendly and courteous we decided to take on the 45 minute wait. We were very pleased we did, the bacon cheese burger was delicious!

Tried the Firehouse Grill for lunch on a recent Friday. Overall it was pretty good. Service was OK but they were slammed by 3 senior citizen busses while we were there. I had the chicken fried steak ... it gets a 7 from me. The sides (fried okra & green bean casserole) were both good. Others had a chicken wrap... More

Hubby had pork chop dinner and I had grilled tilapia. Dinners came with 2 sides. We had ice cold dinner salads and baked potatoes. Both entrees were grilled perfect, tender and juicy and served hot. Everything was fresh. We arrived on the day before the bluebonnet festival and they had been so busy all day some menu items were already... More

We spent the day on the Ennis Blue Bonnet Trail and had decided to stay the night in Ennis. A couple years ago we had attended the Ennis Bluebonnet Festival and had tried to have lunch at the Firehouse Grill. No success as the wait too long. This trip my wife and I decided to have dinner at the Firehouse.... More

Arrived near 11:30 am. Greeted by friendly staff and seated promptly. Menu revealed usual American Food fare. Special of day was stuffed pork chop. I ordered the pan fried sirloin (8 oz). Another ordered catfish and the third the special. Cooking time is a little long but the food is hot and fresh. The steak was prepared exactly to order... More
