Got a sampler platter to go, for snacking at the hotel, and was not impressed. Very mediocre quality food. Cheese sticks were soggy and not crisp at all - no marinara with them. Everything thrown in together haphazardly. Not terrible, just average.

Fayetteville is a gem of a small town, friendly people and beautiful old houses and hotel. We had heard the food at Orsak's was good, and they didn't disappoint! It's just good down home cooking served with a smile in a cute diner atmosphere. Worth the visit!

Our first and only visit was for dinner just before Christmas. The ladies working in the cafe were very friendly and attentive. It seemed like our kind of place too but the food was disappointing overall. My fried catfish was good but the fries were almost raw. We had an appetizer of fried mushrooms but the batter was under cooked... More

We stayed the night in Fayetteville planning on eating at Joe's (they supposedly have a good wine list) but Joe's was hosting a wedding dinner and was closed. So we wandered over to Orsak's and were pleasantly surprised! The salad bar was fresh with numerous ingredients, my husband had liver & onions with mashed pots (a WOW for him) and... More

Second time I reviewed this place. I like to ride my Harley here for lunch as do a lot of Motorcycle Riders as you can see on the weekends all the bikes in the common parking for the city square. I really like the Saturday special French Fried chicken breast. I add a side of onion rings. Best onion rings... More

I have eaten at Orsak's many times. The food is decent (burgers), inexpensive, is served quickly and the staff are very friendly. The problem I have found is that their food is very greasy. It's good comfort food for a small Texas town & worth checking out.

It has been over five years since we last came and the only thing that has changed is they remodeled. The food is just as good as we remembered. My husband had the double meat hamburger with fries. The patties were huge! No frozen patties or fries. Everything was fresh. I had the liver and onions with fried okra and... More

Based on TA reviews, we ate here during a long weekend in Round Top area. I agree with others about stepping back in time. Fresh made meals, large portions and reasonable prices. We noticed a mix of locals and visitors, always a good sign. I had chicken breast (moist) with mashed potatoes, gravy and okra. My wife had potato soup.... More

It's not fair to judge a place by one visit, when that occurs during Artwalk 2016, on a gorgeous day. Everyone came in at the same time, and the staff was on the run. I see by the reviews that this is a popular destination, and maybe someday we'll try it when it's not quite so busy. Lots of us... More

We were told about this place by a vendor at the Antique Show and he was spot on! We had the best fried pickles on our trip as well as catfish and steak. The blackberry cobbler with Blue Bell ice cream was the perfect finish to our dinner!
