We had a company Christmas dinner party for 30 people last Saturday evening. We paid $500 for exclusive use of the restaurant which was to be closed to the public. Our employees and guests were to arrive at 6 for wine in the tasting room with dinner and wine at 6:30 in the dining room. The menu was to be... More

Check the website for the hours, but the food and wine offered at this slightly off the beaten path vinery is top notch.

We came to The LightCather for it's Sunday afternoon Jazz, we had a great time and really enjoyed the Food and the Jazz, a great way to spend Sunday afternoon! They offer light menu with pretty good choices including cheese plate, salad, burger, crab cake, humus, all food looks very presentable and tasted yummy! We had a bottle of Moscato... More

We had a rehearsal dinner at Lightcatcher Winery and it could not have been a more memorable event. I had to plan the event long distance and Caris, the owner, is incredible in every way and so easy to work with to plan the menu, wine selections, table decoration, etc. I was nervous beforehand since this was our big event... Worst customer service ever. Staff is rude and disrespectful. I had hopes of having an event there. I arrived super excited about the location and venue only to be ignored for 5 minutes. and finally when waited on treated like a second class citizen. I don't recommend this venue at all. I've placed on my do not use list.

We are truly astonished at your comments. You were treated with complete courtesy and consideration during your very short visit - why would you choose to say otherwise?. We're sorry you were so disappointed with us and hope you find what you're looking for elsewhere. More

The general ambience is wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food also looked great, although we did not eat here. The issue is that most of their wines tasted very immature and had wild esters that one would not expect of a good wine. Even the Remuda, at $28 dollars a bottle, was just OK. If you're... More

Thank you for pointing up our failure to completely explain our Nouveau Tempranillo - this bottling was a small, traditional run to show off the •potential• of the wine. Not ever having been near a barrel it would only show it's inherent characteristics. Our Remuda Red is actually a Class Champion/multiple medal winning wine and one of our top sellers.... More

We went to the Annual, Lucy crush. Had such a great time last year, I invited multiple friends to join me in the experience for 2015. Everybody has a remarkable time, the only complaint was the food, not being very good and limited amount you can get . You purchase the lunch buffet ticket, however they serve you in a... More

We decided to try out this place on a crisp summer day here in Texas. Although the tasting room was small, it was well-decorated and gave off a very good and comfortable vibe. We did a tasting and the girl who served us was very knowledgeable but was not overbearing, which we liked. My favourite was the Cab - I... More

We are a boutique Texas winery, producing wines made with grapes grown on the Texas High Plains. We offer styles to suit all palates, from sweet to smooth and fruity to big dry reds. Our four acres of oak-treed grounds include the winery, Pavilion and elevated flagstone Terrace (protected and umbrella-ed outdoor seating), herb and vegetable gardens, lawns and a small demonstration vineyard. Indoor seating is in our Barrel Room where our wines are aging in barrels. Wine Tastings are done in our Tasting Room, where there is also additional seating for light bites with wine. Please see our Bistro and Winery hours.
