We were in Fort Worth on vacation and did not make dinner reservations for Valentine's Day. We arrived at Pappadeaux's around 8pm and were seated immediately. They were still very busy. My husband ordered the crab cakes and I ordered the lobster. Both entrees were phenomenal! The waiter brought out real dessert examples to show us while he was explaining... More

This Pappadeaux is always great. From the greeting at the door to the moment they leave, diners are treated to a perfect meal. The bar is good too. The shrimp brochette is delicious and worth the price. The fondue is a nice start if you're looking for an appetizer. The onion rings are outstanding, maybe even the best in the... More

Too much money for the offered cuisine. I suppose they are catering to a certain clientele, however looking around the restaurant the day we had lunch, patrons were not dressed IAW what one would expect as the high priced menu dictates. The food on this particular day was terrible, the staff was short handed and we were dismayed to be... More

Never had alligator before, told it was chewy. Well it was great here with an awesome sauce. Had the shrimp dinner with a loaded potato, both very tasty too!

What should be a wonderful meal with great seafood is actually an overpriced meal with okay seafood. That along with poor service makes this a huge disappointment. Traditionally Pappadeauxs has been a well oiled machine-with great service and excellent food. My last 3, yes 3 visits has officially taken this establishment off my list. Venture to Magnolia Street in Ft.... More

The seafood is good. Ordered blackened catfish with the dirty rice and after taking about 4 bites of the rice, a 14 inch curly black hair came out of the rice pile and I almost vomited (I have shorter blond hair). Notified the waiter and he wasn't sure what he should do. He contacted the manager and they removed the... More
