This is by far one of THE BEST PLACES in Ft Worth. The menu is fun and different, super fancy meat and potatoes. I absolutely love it...haha. Chef Love has some great spots to try out and this is definitely one of them. The tomahawk is the perfect meal to impress your date!

I visited with a friend who loves fine dining as much as me. It wasn't a special occasion, just good food with a good friend. It was expensive but well worth it!

Working on assignment in Ft Worth, I've driven past this restaurant everyday for 9 months. Finally made the reservation and away we go. For appetizer you have to try the rattlesnake sausage and the wild boar ribs, for a main I had the buffalo ribeye which was good but very lean so the minimum 14oz portion was too much. Try... More

The Lonesome Dove is an exceptional place to dine--especially for couples but not only for couples. The menu provides many choices of exotic foods (bison, venison, etc) and the service is equally good. I recommend you call for reservations.

Return visit just as great as the first time. Wonderful service. Ambiance is relaxed and warm without resorting to slouchy. It's clearly a high-end dining experience. But you feel welcome and intimate. Steaks were great, no surprise there. Expertly cooked, not all chefs can get that right. But 2 things really caught us: the fried spinach side was wonderfully salty... More

My husband and I eat here every year for our anniversary. We talk about going to a different restaurant, but we don't want to miss our annual Lonesome Dove outing! We like trying the new, different things on the menu and we're never disappointed. The service, food and atmosphere are all top notch.

We enjoy beef. But even more, we enjoy places that elevate beef with bunches of other wonderful ingredients. Dinner menu was full of wonderful surprises and creativity. Every course -- even dessert -- was served promptly, with graciousness and absolutely delicious flavors. Didn't realize that the evening of our dinner coincided with TCU commencement. Despite the restaurant's popularity with grads... More

My family ate lunch here and really enjoyed the food! We tried two of the specialty cocktails and they tasted delicious! Our waiter, Wilson was very helpful with ordering our lunch. The appetizers were different and tasted so good. We had the lobster hush puppies (so crispy on the outside), elk sliders and the rabbit and rattlesnakes sausage. We also... More

Thoroughly enjoyed this place. Unique setting and lots of different choices on how to enjoy this place. Inside, outside, private dining, fire pit and nice bar area. Food is good and you will not miss out on flavor . Service is good too and we had a good evening. It wasn't 'knock your socks off' food, but it was different... More

Iron chef winner Tim Love knows how to create a great atmosphere with great food. You must make reservations! Order your drinks early ,Before you actually want them, because the bar seems to get slammed. The elk sliders, Bibb salad, bread, and roasted garlic tenderloin are all yummy. They don't give the food away so don't complain at the prices.... More
