The service and food were excellant and we will be back! We had the potato skins for an appetizer and the were outstanding. We had the snitzels and salad, no room for dessert!

Our boys like their burgers, there was a huge selection of beer, but the german potato salad was soupy, the reuben was soggy and the sausage had cheese in it. Not great.

We have had good experience with German fare in Fredericksburg. Auslander was one of the few restaurants open on Memorial Day, so we visited there for a change. We were underwhelmed. The food wasn't awful but could all easily have all been cut out of...More

The staff were efficient. Bratwurst was dry and served with mustard. Hot German potato salad was sweet with nothing but potatoes. Sauerkraut was a very small bowl and had a lot of celery seeds.

Food is terrible! I ordered sausage roll for appetizer, not one piece of sausage. I ordered potato soup, not one potato. Don't order fish at a German restaurant. Fredericksburg needs more dining options!
