This is in the basement of an old establishment- their food was good for lunch! Authentic German food, or Texas favorites... I had the chicken salad sandwich which was great and filling. Their potato salad was served warm and with a nice flavor. Would recommend!

The food was delicious and it was really cool eating in a basement. Don't worry, it is not claustrophobic. The staff was nice and they serve you large portions. We will definitely be going back.

The menu has a lot of different items to chose from and they are all pretty good. The service is really good most days, but if the city is busy, you will wait. Try the duck hash and the soups are nice on a cold day.

Have a specific dietary need, no problem, their staff is ready to help. Gluten free options - menu; lots of flavor & the 'basement' is quaint and interesting. Give 'em a try!! There's something for everyone.

Wife and I went for lunch one night, I ordered the German Sampler which I didn't care to much for. My wife had the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo which was surprisingly very good.

dishes were well prepared and delivered quickly. didn't eat german food although that's why we went there. good pasta dishes and lots of house specialties. had the chicken with artichokes and it was very good. wait staff was friendly and helpful. parking is on the street, and it is very busy on a Friday night.

For a great breakfast in Fredericksburg Texas this is a must try. Of particular note are the hill country beignets and the duck hash.

My sisters and I ate here with a breakfast voucher from a B&B in Fredericksburg. It was a nice, cozy space downstairs and was very good! We 3 all had the regular breakfast but the treat was the Beignets with raspberry jam. Yummy! Service was great and friendly. I would Recommend!
