All authentic and delightful. You will be pleased with the food and then atmosphere. Unpretentious and relaxed. You know you are experiencing someone's grandmother's cooking. This is part of our shared culture. Mexican and Texan. A great combination!

I have only eaten inside the restaurant once, many years ago. But I regularly stand in line outside in the morning for the best breakfast tacos in town.

Breakfast tacos were wonderful and large. Was disappointed the restrooms had no paper towels and no hand soap (although there were dispensers for them.) What they did have was hand sanitizer dispenser on the wall. I'm actually not even sure if the state health department allows that ? It appeared the hand sanitizer is what they are using. Even so,... I am a Mexican food expert, or so I tell myself. This is a hole in the wall, and should be reviewed as such. This is definitely not the best Mexican/ Tex Mex in Texas. The salsa is fairly weak. But overall the best flavor in Georgetown, I completely don´t get folks who prefer the other places. My favorite is... More

In the morning you go to the side window and tell them your order. The wait is never to long and they are pretty fast getting your food out. If you want a soda they only have cans. If you go for lunch the food is good if you like greasy Tex-mex. The inside of the restaurant is a little... More

Place was dirty. Waiter came to our table four times, to take drink and food order then return with the food and then the check. Drink was empty most the time. Food tasted like it came out of the freezer to the microwave and they threw some shredded cheese and sauce on it. Credit Card machine was down so I... More

This is a small restaurant so my advice to you is go early, like around 11am if want to eat at a table inside, we went at 11:30 am and didn't have any wait time. My wife enjoyed the Wednesday lunch special of enchiladas suiza, tender flavorful chicken enchiladas with an awesome green sauce which came with rice, beans and... More

While always less crowded and often overlooked, it's meals were always sublime comfort food. Always just got the Mexican Plate, since it had everything I would ever want in a meal. Also, great place for breakfast tacos. It's where a great number of locals fuel up for the day ahead with super cheap and good breakfast tacos.

El Charrito is our favorite place to eat. When we come in from Galveston it's the first place we head to. Love love their green chicken enchiladas. Also try the beef fajita Enchiladas Campisinas with Chile Carne on top, wow! They make a ton of tacos every morning so everything is always fresh. You can bring your own beer or... More
