Surprisingly, the men's bathroom was extremely dirty. The floors were evidently not mopped and the stall floors were wet and seat was dirty. This is not BUC-EES standard!

Bucee’s is a great place to load up on gas and snacks for your road trip. Their jerky is excellent. They have tons of drinks and other foods
We happened to luckily stop at this Bucee’s in Giddings. I have been to the Bucee’s in Fort Worth and Temple, Texas, and this one is much smaller. However, our group really appreciated this one, as it was not near as busy, and you could...actually walk to the store without bumping into other people. If I am ever in this area again, I will definitely try to make my pitstop here.More
I have only been in one other Buc-ee’s and it was huge so this one is a disappointment. They have a lot of the snacks and jerky but was looking forward to fresh potato chips and other deli delights. It’s very busy and hard to...get in and out ofMore
Just to let Trip Advisor readers know, it appears a fair number of reviews of the Giddings location seem to be generic comments on the chain and not of this particular one. Giddings Buc-ees is the one thing Buc-ees is not, a typical roadside gas...station-convenience store. It's tiny compared to the rest of Buc-eesWorld. Don't know why its even in the restaurant category for Trip Advisor. About the only "real Buc-ees" food offering is the jerky. That's right. None of the BBQ or other signature Buc-ees offerings except for jerky. Bottom line: Nothing wrong for stopping for (very low priced) gas but if plan to eat you'd be better off going a few blocks west and stopping at the nice convenience store with a Burger King attached.More
I’m not sure which Buc-ees the pictures are from but the pics of the inside are not of the Giddings location. The Giddings store is small but clean. They do offer some of the Buc-ee’s famous treats but limited. The staff is friendly and the...Manager is always ready to help a customer in need. Easy store to get in and out of fast because it is smaller. Still has plenty of pumps.More
You have to visit this business. It is the biggest (as Texas does everything big) gas station/store I have ever seen. It has more gas pumps in one place that I have seen. This place and the stuff in it puts Walmart to shame. Lots...of things to browse around and it takes awhile to see everything they offer. There is a deli and lots more food you can order. They have the best gummy bears I have ever had.More
In the world of roadside truck stops, there is no place greater than Buc-ee's. I am a hard core road warrior (I love road trips), and it's one of the most amazing places I have ever seen. The snack selection is out of this world....Go ahead, name a snack you don't think they'll have and you'll be shocked when you find it. I even found sugar free chocolate covered peanuts for sale. Score! There's a large bbq station inside too with Texas style feasts, prepared fresh before your eyes. It makes a great snack and is very high quality bbq. There's a wall of homemade jerky (dozens of varieties), plenty of gas pumps out front, lots of parking, adorable Beaver souvenirs, and even the soda fountain has two different kinds of ice! Ladies, forget doing the potty dance while you wait for one of three filthy bathroom stalls in various states of disrepair: Buc-ee's has dozens of them, all sparkling clean, all in perfect working order. For once, there was NO LINE for the women's restroom! I have never seen anything like it. I love this place. I want to go back to Texas just so I can visit again.More
I am a big fan of Buc-ee’s and live about four miles from one. This is not your typical Buc-ee’s. This is a baby Buc-ee’s. Extremely small store that doesn’t offer a lot of the food as the bigger locations such as the BBQ. This...Buc-ee’s is not RV friendly. I was towing my 38’ fifth wheel and could barely maneuver the parking lot for fuel. A larger fifth wheel or a large motor home could have issues getting in and out. That coupled with the fact it is on HWY 290 which is super busy makes getting in and out even worse. This Buc-ee’s needs a redo on a larger piece of property!More
Love stopping there on my way to see my mother. Clean restrooms and good food. Only wish they would have a place to sit to in joy the atmosphere. I think I would buy more.
I didn't understand at first why my family was so eager for me to visit the gas station. Once I saw how enormous the inside was it made a little more sense (it's definitely not your run-of-the-mill gas station). It's one of the biggest stores...I've ever seen and that includes Walmart superstores. It offers everything you could possibly want including freshly made fudge, and huge beef jerky. It even has apparel, clocks, canvas paintings, bags, coolers, grills, and outdoor tents to name a few. (The products will cost you a pretty penny, because the fact that it's a tourist trap is impossible to ignore). Buc-ee's even has a t-shirt with his image sold at the entrance of the store, and his own cookies called 'Beaver Bites'. My aunt and her daughter love the cookies (they purchase them often), but the rest of my family finds them disgusting. The store is almost impossibly clean considering how many customers traverse through its aisles. However, that just speaks volumes about the loyalty, and responsibility the employees show in their work. Obviously, they treat their workers well, and they receive above sup par cleanliness in return. The only flaw in my opinion comes not from the store itself, but the gas stations in the front. I just don't get the appeal of filling up your cars tank at this particular gas station. It should be illegal to sell any product (especially gas) without announcing the price. However, against all logic, people seem to flock here in droves to use the multiple gas pumps.More
This is a very small Buc-ee's, but it still has several gas pumps. The food is not great and is overpriced, and they are very proud of their Buc-ee's merchandise. It's best to just gas up and go
My nephew took me here while I was visiting the area. Being from back east this is definitely a destination and restaurant. Outside 85 gas pumps, Inside is you can buy just about anything. You can browse for about a half hour just to see...everything, Then BBQ, jerky, fudge, sandwiches, and more. Interesting stop if you have the time .More
This one is small not your mega store like on the interstates. You can get breakfast or lunch items and the wonderful Buccee Balls. If you are in Giddings and need a Buccee fix here it is.
Very clean restrooms and lots to be sure. Anything you want to buy from fresh produce to freshly made sandwiches and other food. You can't go wrong, and you'll become a Buc-ee's fan.
