Highly recommend the chicken fried steak. Great for families. (It was a bit odd that the dressing for the salad came in a separate plastic container with a lid instead of a small ramekin.)

My wife and I have visited this restaurant several times. We like to go to Fossil Rim park and generally make it a two day trip. The only complaint I have is the amount of food is more than I can eat. But, this time I noted a "senior menu" with smaller portions and a lower price. I found that... More

I liked the fact that this restaurant had the smoking and non-smoking sections separated. We were a little early for lunch but were able to order breakfast and lunch items. The restaurant has very little atmosphere but it's comfortable. The service was good and our server was very attentive and friendly. The food was average nothing to rave about. They... More

Staff was great, manager even stopped by and checked on all of the tables. Food was AWESOME!!!! My fiancé had Chicken fried steak, my oldest son had enchiladas, and me and my youngest son had breakfast. All of it was cooked perfectly and tasted SOOOOO good!!!! We will definitely be stopping there again!!

I liked the atmosphere. It was almost like a local Lake restaurant. It had a pretty good view. The food was okay but I wouldn't say great. Their shirts said they had huge biscuits and they were not that big in my opinion they're just regular size biscuits and being called the giant cup you would think they would have... More

This was a super yummy breakfast spot on our quick visit to Glen Rose. However---service (though friendly), was extremely slow. I would definitely go back because our breakfast was great, but I would allow more time and bring in some toys for the kids!

My daughter and I went here to eat on the way back from dinosaur Valley State Park. I do agree with another poster, the place does look like a bar. We almost went somewhere else because of this. I'm glad we didn't. The food was very good and inexpensive. We both had the breakfast skillet. The service started out kind... More

Drove by this restaurant a couple of times before we stopped because we thought it was just a bar. Someone at the campground we were staying at said that the food was very good and they were correct. It was not expensive, the food was fresh and tasted very good. All in all I would go back.

We went over New Year's Weekend and since Glen Rose is a small town, most of the restaurants were closed! Boo. So I actually ate at this restaurant twice. The restaurant is home style food. I had the huevos rancheros and it was delicious and so was the hamburger quesadilla.

The staff is pleasant and it was nice to order breakfast in the evening. The eggs could have been warmer, but the bacon and hashbrowns were fine. Unfortunately, the giant biscuit wasn't all that great. The texture was off and the center wasn't done.
