If you are wanting the true local flavor of Gonzales TX, this is the place to eat. You will see local families, visitors and real cowboys and experience a friendly staff and unique atmosphere. The restaurant is located in the same building as the livestock sale barn so you can see and hear cattle, and listen to cowboys talk about... More

The onion rings were superb as was the CFS. The cost of our meal was less than what I would expect to... More

Good food and nice people! Great angus burger, patty melt and chicken quesadillas! Unique place and the meeting spot for locals. Reasonable prices added to the overall fun experience. Be prepared to blow your diet but worth it!

The Cow Palace was a frequent stop for my dad and I going back almost 40 years ago. I hadn't been there in about 15 years until passing through Gonzales this week. I was super hungry and decided to try it again. It didn't let me down. I had the chicken fried steak and baked potato. The chicken fried steak... More

On a recent weekend trip to the Gonzales area, I came across this restaurant online when searching for places to eat. The reviews were mixed but mostly positive, so we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed! Additionally, we KNEW that we were in a good place to eat when 3 Law Enforcement Officers came in and... More

It was just bare to the point where my family might have complained and walked out....things would pretty much have to be terrible for... More
