I just ate there for the 1st time in years. I remembered it being pretty good, but after today I will never eat there again. What you see on this plate is all I could force myself to eat. I ordered a Chimichanga. On the menu it says "stuffed with beef or chicken, pico de gallo, & sour cream HOT... More

My wife and I had a great time at this authentic Mexican restaurant. We ate queso flameado and drank unsweetened tea and they were both extremely flavorful. Yes even the tea was great. Wonderful late night atmosphere and attentive staff. Keep up the great work.

I ordered the Camarones ENDIABLADOS this means super HOT Shrimp (the menu had the same Capital Letters to warn people of how hot this plate was). I would call them Camarones Endulsados (sweetened shrimp) since the Hot Sauce tasted sweet and had no spice at all. This is a perfect restaurant for people who consider Taco Bell Mexican Food!

Very affordable and authentic Mexican food. Large portions. Awesome scratch made tortillas. The place isn't that great to look at but the food makes up for it that's for sure.

The breakfast at Las Cazuelas is awesome. When we went the parking lot was full, but there was some seating still available. Service is attentive, fast and efficient. Free refills on coffee and soda. I had the eggs and steaks. This selection is accompanied by refried beans, tortillas (choice of flour or corn) and fried potatoes. The meal was filling,... More

After trying a few Mexican places recommended by locals and been underwhelmed, we tried Las Cazuelas after noting that their parking lot was always pretty full. It features the same dishes as the other places, with a menu that is a bit broader. The egg dishes are quite tasty. Don't expect gourmet Mexican or any pretensions. What you'll get are... More

We were headed to the #1 rated Mexican Restaurant in Harlingen and saw the crowded parking lot at Las Cazuelas. So glad we tried it out! Happy hour margaritas are very refreshing and a couple of bucks. We had the cheese/chorizio appetizer = YUM! Hubby had fajitas and I had enchilada/taco etc. Took enough home for lunch the next day.... More

We were in town for a family gathering over the weekend and decided to stop at Las Cazuelas; in part, due to the large parking lot filled with cars.. The Breakfast selection was fairly standard for a Mexican restaurant in The Valley. Breakfast tacos are served on either corn or flour tortillas and ranged from overfilled to hardly filled; depending... More
