I was invited to an event related to business, the terrace was very lovely and the staff very attentive. The food and bar were exceptional. I am sure I had more fun than my peers at the big hotel dinner events going on at the same moment- this place is very quaint. I can see this being a romantic destination... More

The restaurant takes reservations for lunch so your expectation may be high. We chose to sit outside to enjoy the humid free days available in February and had no reservations. The food and service was average. Lunch for two with no frills is $45.

We had an ok time here. The atmosphere is great and ambiance fantastic. The food is good, but pretty overpriced. This was expected so not so bad.

The St Basil was amazing! The atmosphere is nice in downtown Houston. All the appetizers were great. Try the cheese tray, quesadillas, homemade guacamole and chips! The shrimp option was nice and refreshing. The banana pudding tiramisu was great! Great place for business of pleasure. Highly recommend!

My husband and I wanted to try out this restaurant during our short stay in Houston. With the little time we had, our only option was to go for dessert. We went around 9:00, about an hour before they closed. We were going to sit at the bar, but we didn't want to order drinks and it was incredibly noisy... More

OK, I know it the trend now days, but I prefer a restaurant that I can easily hear the people I am with. That being said, the food made up for the noise enough that I did eat here twice in a 4 day stay in town. Service was fast and friendly.

We arrived in Houston for a medical conference and were on our Tripadvisor app searching for a well reviewed restaurant near us, since we had just taken an über from the airport. The grove is walking distance from Hilton Americas so it for the bill. It was ranked in the top 40 out of 7,000+ restaurants in Houston. So first... More

Every dish had a new twist that surprised in a wonderful way. I can't say enough about the chef and cuisine. This kind of taste would be more often found at a much higher priced restaurant. The waiters were knowledgeable, helpful, and discrete. They gave us our desert free since it was our anniversary celebration. What a pleasant evening in... More

Not much to say. Our reservation (made month in advance for January 15th) was canceled. Who knows if the food or food service is good or bad.

The consistency of this restaurant over the past 4 years has been impressive. 10 visits and each meal has been excellent. Great ambiance too. Highly recommend
