After our trip to Israel, my wife and I began looking for a place we could enjoy the falafels and Shawarma we had discovered on our trip. To our pleasant surprise we found Zabak’s about five minutes from our house. We are not experts, but we do love this place with the good food and very friendly service. We eat... More

I go to Zabak for lunch almost every time I'm in Galleria area. The owner is very polite and the food is very good. It's a perfect place for a quick lunch.

Having just returned from the Middle East, I was pleased to find a local spot that offers delicious cuisine from the area. I highly recommend the falafal and Shawarma and have been told the Kababs are really good. The pricing for the food is great too.

The owner at the register was genuinely kind and accommodating. I had chicken kabob, tabbouleh, hummus and pita bread. My son had chicken and fries and both were very flavorful. Will definitely be going back.

If you have never eating Mediterranean food, this is the place to go for your first sampling. My son takes me here every time I visit him in Houston. Because I am a vegetarian, I am in heaven when I eat here. The cafe is in a shopping strip on the south side of Westheimer at Fountainview. The cafe is... More

I have been here two times and on both occasions I have enjoyed my meal and visit. First, the owner works the cash register and she is just so extremely friendly. You can tell she is genuinely caring and wants you to have a good experience at her restaurant. The food is extremely yummy and well presented. However, the best... More

If you love Mediterranean food or would like to try it for the first time then this is the place for you. The food is absolutely amazing but it is the family who owns it that makes the experience so memorable. We go in 3 or 4 times a year and every single time they greet us and remember us... More

The food at Zabaks is fresh with spot on favors and delicious. The staff is delightful in this family owned business. Eating here is a real treat. The falafel is the best in Houston and the chicken schwarma has a flavorful sauce. Our other dishes were full of fresh and well seasoned ingredients. Definitely worth a visit

This is a gem of a family owned restaurant. It is located in a shopping center right down from my apartment, and frequent it when I am craving some hummus. You order up front at the register, then find a table. The food comes out fairly fast and is always delicious! My favorites are the aforementioned hummus, as well as... More
