Nice bar. Good cocktail selection. Parisian flair with menu - breakfast and lunch items available. Very enjoyable Croque Madam — will be back to try some other items like the eggs Benedict.

Our group of 5 friends dined at Brasserie 19 for lunch today to celebrate a birthday. Service was good until we paid our bill and then requested two items: a to-go box for leftover dessert and some extra bread to-go. The tip was generous so...More

I've been to "B19" many times and I've finally built up the courage to write a review! I've heard through grapevine that one of the main chefs left B19 to go to A'Bouzy so I wanted to try it again after I heard the news....More

This is one of the best places in the Houston area that I have been to. It's kind of like Fine French food meets Gastropub. I had dinner/drinks at the bar with a friend of mine and I have nothing bad to say about anything...More

Brasserie 19 is one of those restaurants that is perfectly fine for the sort of upscale food it serves, but you have to have the right expectations going in. In general, I don't think you are going to find innovative food here, but standards like...More

The menu is very similar to any you'd find at a brasserie in Paris, though the prices here are a bit higher. Thursdays and Fridays nights are a made scene, I try to avoid on those nights. My fave time is Saturday lunch or in...More

In Houston, except for a few very high end restaurants, just about anything goes. It is a nice place, so I would wear nice clothing, even if it is jeans.

Description
Brasserie 19, located in Houston’s 77019 neighborhood, offers a modern amalgamation of French brasserie fare and well-known American influences. The chef-driven menu utilizes the freshest seasonal ingredients in thoughtfully prepared dishes. Brasserie 19 boasts an expansive, carefully developed wine list dedicated to pricing just above retail – a philosophy pioneered by owners Charles Clark and Grant Cooper upon opening their first restaurant, Ibiza Food & Wine Bar. Brasserie 19's sophisticated yet unpretentious interiors are bathed in cool greys and whites, with antiqued wood and white marble used throughout. Grey leather banquettes and comfortable chairs are paired with white linen and butcher paper-covered tables create a casually elegant setting for lunch, dinner or Sunday brunch. Brasserie 19 will serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week, as well as brunch on Sundays.
