When I think about leaving Houston, one of the things I will miss the most will be the produce section at Central Market. I LOVE that I can buy only as mush as I want instead of a huge bag of vegetables and fruit that end up going bad in a few days. Plus, all the produce is fresh and... More

We had a blast wandering through Central Market today. So many products to choose from and from so many countries and most different from my usual supermarket. I could spend all day here, but I'm excited to take my cowboy hamburger patty home and eat with my corn chowder kit. I love those bags that get all the ingredients together... More

I go for their special cheeses, wines, bread and cut flowers. They have a terrific grocery selection but the special items are worthy of going out of your way!

Is this a grocery store? Wine store? Cafe? Yes. All of the above. Not quite a full-service grocery store, as they carry a small assortment of specialty items, but a fabulous selection of produce, meat, bread, cheeses, wine and beer, flower shop, prepared food. Also a small sit-down area for a cup of great coffee and a sweet or a small... More

Outstanding grocery store with seating area to take a break and have a bite. This store is full of temptations and fresh ingredients. From the produce to the fish, from the meat or the cheeses to the bakery... it is sheer perfection! We take all our visitors there for a tour and their reaction is always the same: impressed!!! Tremendous... More

Great place to grab a quick salad or soup for lunch, good cafe selection and better quality than most grocery places. Busy at lunch time but lots of parking.

We stopped in for a quick sandwich and coffee. Grabbed some chocolate for desert as well. We were shocked by how quickly you could get freshly prepared food here. We even were able to sit on the second floor deck and enjoy the beautiful weather.

Can't beat the quality and selection. Service is very good. They are expensive but you are getting what you're paying for.

H.E.B. groceries are really good, but this flagship is just great. The bakery is wonderful. The store is wonderful, but a little difficult to navigate at first. A true experience.

We went just to get bread and cheese. Those 2 items can take a lot of time as the selection is stunning. The entire place is alive and a wonderful experience. Truly something for everyone. The spice area is intoxicating. Even if you do not purchase anything it is worth the visit.
