Likely the best burger down in the underground. Get there a bit before 12 to beat the rush. Skip the fries, $$ for what you get.

They have a lot of great things, like hamburgers, but I want to tout one of their underlooked items - the hot dog. They filet it and grill it over a wood fire, then serve it on a hamburger bun with mustard, onions, and relish. Awesome.

I think Becks is a chain fast food store but we are not familiar with it. Oddly they serve burgers, salads and steaks- like big 22.00 steaks- and have a drive thru. It just seemed odd to us for someone to order expensive steaks at a drive thru. Anyway, we went in to eat. Staff was friendly. Seating area is... More

If you are hungry for a good old fashioned hot dog, head for Becks in the Houston tunnel system! They take 2 hot dogs, split the part way through and grill them. Then they place them on a great tasting sesame seed bun with mustard and puckles and onions!! YUM! Fries are also great! I didn't have one but the... More

Stopped in for lunch while out exploring downtown's tunnel system. This location can be a bit noisy but the food was cooked to the standard that their other locations serve up. Just to be clear this location is underground in the tunnels so you won't see it from the street level.

We went there to eat hamburger and the specialty of the house, bequita, which is basically a huge plate of greens, chopped tomatoes, pickles, sour cream, and whatever meat you would like to have it with. I had 6 ounces off ribeye, which was soft and delicious. we were at giant just before the kitchen closed by more friends who... More

My daughter recently took me to Beck’s Prime for a late lunch. I’m not a fast food burger guy, so I wasn’t exactly thrilled. But now having eaten there, I’m a huge fan. I loved the burgers. The B.P. Burger was amazing. It was definitely high grade Angus. I highly recommend this place if you’re ever in Houston.

I've eaten at Beck's Prime for decades, off and on. The burger's, meats and sandwiches are good. But the fries are the greasiest I have ever encountered, always. I don't understand the logic. Who actually thinks to themself, "Hey I want to wring out some fries in my mouth". They're disgusting. I'd in fact go to McDonalds for fries before... More

A go-to place for good burgers, hot dogs or a salad in a nicer-than-the-ordinary setting. I admire this restaurant group for preserving large trees and a sense of place....rare qualities in Houston.
