As soon as we sat down and ordered appetizers and drinks they were at our table in a matter of a few minutes. We sat near the menu close to the door. Everything was great and had some heat to it.

Wow! What gem in the middle if downtown Houston. Authentic mexican, superb service, very knowledgeable, it was like going to you're family's house for dinner. Everyone was welcoming, smiling, and the food is to die for - best guac ever! Can't wait to go back...More

Irma's is a must dine location for top local cuisine. The Galvon family does an outstanding job producing high quality Tex-Mex food at reasonable prices. The tamales, chile rellenos, mole, enchilladas, and tres leches are wonderful, among other nice dishes. The fresh lemonade is terrific...More

Very pleasant restaurant, close to Minute Maid Park and many downtown Houston hotels. We enjoyed dinner on a Monday evening with several other colleagues. We shared appetizers of guacamole and Queso dip and both were quite tasty. The menu is posted on a chalk board...More

Irma's offers a pleasantly-noisy atmosphere just a few steps from the ballpark and convention center. The food is fresh and tasty, the menu written on the board each day plus specials. We thoroughly enjoyed the guacamole and the tacos; the combo was a bit sparse....More
