Located toward the back of a small strip mall just outside a rather industrial part of town, the only positive first impression was the large number of cars in front. Once inside the magic began. Our order was quickly taken and the appetizers arrived immediately. The tapioca wrapped seafood bites were unusual and good. The spring rolls were exceptional in... More

This is my go to place to eat with my family on Fridays for their 5 dollar Pho! I've had other items on their menu and it's all very delicious at a decent price!

I have eaten lots of Pho in Houston over the years. Kim Chau was exactly what I was expecting after driving by several times. Prices were very reasonable, service was prompt, and the food was pretty fresh. I tried one of the vermicelli dishes, and from the sound of it I missed out on really good Bun Bo Hue which... More

I used to work not far away, so I could come on my lunch break and satisfy my craving. It's located in not so-stellar part of Houston, in unassuming strip mall. However, my best Bun Bo Hue in Houston to date. Especially if you'd like to eat it with everything in it (blood cake, pork knuckle and such). The broth... More

completely unassuming little joint in a run-down, easy to miss strip mall in Houston. We got there a half hour before closing (7 pm on a Saturday night.) Harsh lighting, no ambience. But who cares? Some of the best vietnamese food we've ever had - we had different kinds of pho, vermicelli bowls, spring and summer rolls. Everything was aromatic... More

I was there 2 weeks ago for BBH (bun bo hue) during lunch with a friend. As usual, it was really good. They renovated a few years ago, now the restaurant is clean & bright. The owner's son has really done a nice job plus installed a credit card machine which is a plus. We ordered the large bowl of... More

Imagine cooking the best bowl of soup you've ever made, it's perfect, just the right amount spice, great flavor, perfect! now take that big bowl of soup out to the back yard, stick your head in Spot's DOG HOUSE, get a good whiff of that dog... i live just 5 min from here ... it's good, but nothing to write home about. first, the meat is really tough and chewy (both pork and beef as well as the shank). the broth is good though. i'm actually from the region where this soup is famous for (Hue in Viet Nam). in my opinion, the best bun bo...
